You never specified which version of VB you installed, and never mentioned whether you installed the Extension Pack, if it was one of the more recent versions. I did what I should have done in the first place, I hard installed it to my drive. Things did not go as planed, I will just deal with the small screen. If you need a bit more advice just post back.
